Day of Master Classes and Ballet Teachers' Seminar Sunday November 5, 2006

with distinguished guest artists Marcia Dale Weary and William DeGregory

Peabody Dance's  sixth annual Day of Master Classes took place on November 5th, with 80 advanced and intermediate ballet students from the Maryland, Pennsylvania and DC area attending.  Four technique classes were taught simultaneously by Marcia Dale Weary, Artistic Director of Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, William DeGregory, Artistic Director of Pennsylvania Ballet
II, Barbara Sandonato, master teacher and Pennsylvania Ballet's first prima ballerine, and Norma Pera, Artistic Director of Baltimore School for the Arts.

The new Ballet Teachers' Seminar was an added feature in th afternoon and highly successful. Thirty teachers attended and were invited to bring some of their own students to participate in the two demonstration classes led by Marcia Dale Weary.
