How can I purchase software with an academic discount?
Hopkins Information Technology Services
Hopkins Information Technology Services (HITS) offers student discounted prices for software from companies including Adobe, Macromedia, Mathematica, Microsoft, and SAS. For a complete list of software and prices, please see the HITS software catalog webpage at https://spars.jhu.edu. (You will need a JHED ID and password to login to this web page.) The prices of the actual CDs are listed in the Media column and need to be added to the license prices listed in the Student column (in addition to a 5% sales tax).
Students may choose to share the same media but each student must purchase a separate license. To purchase this software through HITS, please go to their office in Garland Hall, Suite 01A at the Homewood campus with your Peabody ID. The office accepts checks, money orders, and cash (exact change).
