MM/MTP Outcomes

Ten people have completed the MM/MTP degree since 1998.

  • Seven of those ten also completed other degrees at Peabody, with overlapping credits. The concurrent majors include masters degrees in voice, clarinet, percussion, violin, and computer music.

  • Five have gone on to doctoral programs in Music Theory, Musicology, and DMA applied studies.

  • Eight are teaching at the post-secondary level.

 

Eleven people are currently completing the MM/MTP degree.

  • Seven of those eleven are also completing other degrees, or have recently completed other degrees at Peabody with overlapping credits. The concurrent majors in MM degrees in composition, flute and piano, DMA degrees in composition, flute, organ, and piano, and a GPD in guitar.

  • Seven are scheduled to complete the degree in May 2005.

  • Four have already taught in fulfillment of their Music Theory Internship.

  • Six are Graduate Assistants.
