Grove Music Online is now part of the new Oxford Music Online, which includes access to The Oxford Dictionary of Music and The Oxford Companion to Music as well as the Grove Online. Searches may be by single source or combined to search one or more sources simultaneously.  Bibliographies are linked via the "Find it" software to the Hopkins Library Catalog as well as electronic resources (including full text).  Articles in the Grove Online are also linked (under "Related Content") to the sound files available at Classical.com

Classical Music Reference Library brings together more than 30,000 pages of essential reference materials, spanning the entire history of Western classical music, in a unified online database. Included are the authoritative reference titles Baker's Dictionary of Music, Baker's Biographical Dictionary of Musicians, and Baker's Student Encyclopedia of Music, the Grout Short History of Opera, the G.K. Hall Encyclopedia of Women Composers, Slonimsky's Music since 1900 and others.

Includes content from over 430 current journals from around the world (1996- ) and complete coverage of citations from 185 core journals (from 1874- ) Major update and new interface due in August.

Covering 1975-2007, the Music Index Online includes citations from over 800 international music periodicals. The web interface offers both Basic and Expert searching.

This database is currently strongest in 19^th century publications, but plans to index 20^th century publications as well.
