The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University

Placement auditions for the Peabody Jazz Orchestra and the Peabody Improvisation & Multimedia Ensemble are scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, and Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Jazz majors will be pre-assigned specific times which will be posted here later this summer.

Participation in these ensembles is not limited to jazz majors. Interested instrumentalists who are not jazz majors are encouraged to audition as well, and should contact Rich Lauver for further information. A sign-up sheet will be located in the Ensemble Office beginning on Monday, August 25 for non-jazz majors to receive an audition time.
