Concert Uniform
Concert dress is worn for all
Peabody Children's Chorus performances and for Uniform Check Day in November. We check all uniforms on Uniform Day and this
allows us to ensure that each student has the appropriate concert outfit before
our first concert. If your child cannot
attend Uniform Day, please have your child wear his or her uniform to the next
regular rehearsal.
Girls: Training Choir and
Choristers only
To be purchased by parents:
- plain, white, long-sleeved, oxford cloth blouse with regular, pointed collar and with no lace or frills; we will take orders for these at the beginning of the year, or you may purchase your own;
- uniform skirt; we will take orders for these at the beginning of the year;
- opaque black tights;
- PLAIN, FLAT, black dress shoes (no clogs, sneakers or boots); non-shiny shoes are preferred; suggestion-- any large front buckles or other decoration can be covered with black electrical tape; for safety reasons, shoes must be flat (heels of one inch or less).
Peabody Children's Chorus will
provide bow.
Jewelry, earrings, belts, make-up,
nail polish and perfume are strictly
prohibited.
Please pull hair back whenever possible.
Girls: Chamber Singers
To be purchased by parents:
- uniform blouse and skirt; we will take orders for these at the beginning of the year;
- off-black knee-highs;
- PLAIN, FLAT, black dress shoes (see instructions above for Choristers);
Peabody Children's Chorus will
provide bow.
Jewelry, earrings, belts, make-up,
nail polish and perfume are strictly prohibited.

Boys: Training Choir and Choristers only
To be purchased by parents:
- white, long-sleeved shirt; oxford cloth with button-down collar
- black dress slacks (no jeans)
- black socks & black dress shoes (no sneakers or boots)

Boys: Chamber Singers
To be purchased by parents:
- uniform shirt; we will take orders for these at the beginning of the year
- black dress slacks (no jeans)
- black socks & black dress shoes (no sneakers or boots)
