Concert Uniform
Concert dress is worn for all Peabody Children's Chorus performances and for Uniform Check events: we check all uniforms during the fall semester to ensure that each student has the appropriate outfit before our first concert. We will provide information regarding Uniform Check event dates.
Girls
To be purchased by parents:
- uniform skirt and blouse (order information will be given at the beginning of the year)
- opaque black tights for Training Choir and Choristers; off-black knee-highs for Chorale students
- PLAIN, FLAT, black dress shoes (no clogs, sandals, sneakers or boots); non-shiny shoes are preferred; suggestion-- any large front buckles or other decoration can be covered with black electrical tape; for safety reasons, shoes must be flat (heels of one inch or less).
Peabody Children's Chorus will provide bow.
White camisole may be worn under shirt if desired (no dark garments should be worn under your concert shirt).
Jewelry, earrings, belts, make-up, nail polish and perfume are strictly prohibited.
Please pull hair back whenever possible.
Boys
To be purchased by parents:
- uniform shirt (order information will be given at the beginning of the year)
- black dress slacks (no jeans)
- black socks & black dress shoes (no sneakers or boots)
Peabody Children's Chorus will provide tie
