PEABODY CHILDREN'S CHORUS 2011/12 SCHEDULE
TOWSON CAMPUS
All events on Tuesdays unless noted
Weekly rehearsal schedule:
Training Choir: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Choristers: 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Chorale: 7:00-9:00 p.m.
SEPTEMBER REHEARSALS (3): 13th, 20th, 27th
SEPTEMBER REMINDERS
- Please order all uniform items by September 29th
- Call the Box Office after September 15th at 410-234-4800 to reserve your tickets to both the December concerts (2nd and 3rd) and the May concert (6th).
OCTOBER REHEARSALS (4): 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
NOVEMBER REHEARSALS (5): 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, *29th
NOVEMBER REMINDERS:
- *November 29th is a mandatory rehearsal
- If you need to make up any rehearsals, plan to do so soon so that you will be eligible to sing in the Winter Concerts.
- November 8th is Uniform Check Day. Unless your singer’s uniform passed inspection in September, s/he must wear full concert dress to this rehearsal and follow a special schedule for this evening only:
Training Choir 4:30-5:45 p.m. (stay late)
Choristers 5:15-7:00 p.m. (come early)
Chorale 6:30-9:00 p.m. (come early)
- If your singer is unable to participate in the December COncert Rehearsal (2nd) or Concerts (3rd & 4th), and you would like to switch to the Concert Rehearsal (9th) and Concerts (10th & 11th) in Howard County, please e-mail Ms. Spicher by November 6th.
DECEMBER CONCERT REHEARSAL & CONCERTS
2nd [Fri.]—mandatory concert rehearsal, Friedberg Concert Hall, Peabody Institute. Rehearsal times:
Training Choir: 5:00-6:15 p.m.
Choristers: 5:45-8:00 p.m.
Chorale: 7:30-9:45 p.m.
3rd [Sat.]— WINTER CONCERT I, Friedberg Concert Hall, 3:00 p.m. (arrive 1:45 p.m.)
4th [Sun.]—WINTER CONCERT II, Friedberg Concert Hall, 3:00 p.m. (arrive 1:45 p.m.)
DECEMBER REMINDERS:
- Wear PCC t-shirt to Concert Rehearsal
- Wear PCC full concert uniform to both Winter Concerts
- All students must arrive by 1:45 p.m. on concert days
- Tickets are required for concerts [call Box Office at (410) 234-4800]. Each family receives 3 free tickets to use at either concert; additional tickets may be purchased for $5.00 each.
- Must be 5 years-old to attend concerts
There are no rehearsals on Dec. 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th; all students on Winter Break until January 17th

MAY REMINDERS:
- *The May 1st rehearsal is mandatory

- Wear PCC full concert uniform to Spring Concert
- All students must arrive by 1:45 p.m. on concert day
- Tickets are required for concert [call Box Office at (410) 234-4800]. Each family receives 3 free tickets for this concert (some additional tickets may be available; the Box Office staff will keep a waiting list and try to accommodate as many requests as possible).

THERE ARE NO MORE REGULAR REHEARSALS AFTER THE MAY 6th CONCERT.

Vocal Check-Ups for some Training Choir and Choristers students (see details in PCC Handbook); evaluations for all Chorale students.
