Interested in performing for the Peabody Elderhostel program? Please contact Julia Potler at jpotler1@peabody.jhu.edu
A unique aspect of the Peabody Elderhostel program is the opportunity to attend numerous Conservatory and Preparatory recitals and/or concerts during your week with us. The classically trained musicians of the Peabody Institute thoroughly enjoy performing for Elderhostelers, allowing them an opportunity to play before a live and appreciative audience.
Although we publish the dates and times of student recitals and/or concerts, we have no impact on the program being performed. Students play the works they are perfecting at this time in their musical training.
We strongly encourage students to interact with the audience either before, during or after their recital. Many students are very comfortable discussing themselves and their program with you; others are more shy. However, if you have an opportunity to talk with the students after the recital, we think you will find them delighted to answer your questions.
We trust you will enjoy these varied performances that encompass a wide range of musical genres and training.
