Open Program

The Open Program offers classes in Ballet and Contemporary Dance for students of all ages and abilities who love to dance but wish to undertake a less intensive schedule. Technical work is presented in a sequential, graded format to meet the needs of students who seek quality training, enrichment, and physical fitness. In the Open Program; the number of classes may be fewer, but the quality of training is not diminished. As with the Pre-Professional Program, students may remain at the same level for more than one season, until they have accomplished the required skills to progress to the next level. Enrollees in the Open Program are required to register for no less than one class per week for the training season. Open Program students wishing to participate in the year-end Peabody Dance Performance should note that additional time commitment is required, as rehearsals will be conducted separately from scheduled classes.
