The GPD in Chamber music is considered an "internal" option for currently accepted performance majors, offering an alternative to the usual GPD emphasis on solo and large ensemble performance.  It is based instead on small ensemble performance practice and repertoire.  The diploma earned is in "Chamber Music."

As an "internal" program you cannot apply for it directly.  You must apply, and be accepted on your major instrument.  If you are interested in a GPD in Chamber music, please let us know in writing, or announce your intentions to admissions staff when you visit the school to audition.  Entrance requirements for the GPD in Chamber Music are identical to those for the Performance GPD, so there will be no difference in audition activities.
