BA Music Education, Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama; Graduate Artist Diploma (piano) RSAMD; Licentiate Royal Academy of Music (piano); Postgraduate certificate for teaching music in public schools, St. Andrew's College of Education, Scotland; MM Vocal Music Education, Syracuse University; MM Piano Performance, Syracuse University.  Ms. Falby was awarded a Rotary International Fellowship, a Syracuse University Graduate Fellowship and a Louisiana State University Graduate Assistantship (music theory);  She also received the James Friskine memorial prize for solo piano.  In 1990 Ms. Falby founded and directed the Maryland Children's Singers (now part of the Peabody Childrens Chorus).
