Pre-Professional Intensive
Four weeks (June 23-July 18)

For ages 7-young adult
Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (no classes on July 4)
A challenging full-day program for highly motivated, entry-level to upper level students provides a strong focus on ballet, pointe (for upper level students who demonstrate technical readiness) and additional classes in Contemporary Dance, Other Dance Forms, Percussion and Theater Arts.
Students with previous dance training must complete a placement session to determine which level is appropriate. Please contact Peabody Dance at (410) 659-8100, ext. 1125, or dance@peabody.jhu.edu to schedule a placement session. Beginners with no formal training will enter Level A and do not need to be placed.
Level A: Primary ages 7-13 beginners and students with one year or less
of formal ballet training
Level B: Elementary ages 9 and up with at least two years of formal ballet training
Level C: Intermediate ages 10 and up with at least three years of formal ballet training
Level D: Upper Intermediate/ ages 11 up and with at least four years of formal
Advanced ballet training
Tuition (with July 4th deducted):
Four weeks Levels A & B 9:00-4:00 pm weekdays (95 hrs) $967
Four weeks Levels C & D 9:00-4:00 pm weekdays (114 hrs) $1,160
Three weeks Levels A & B 9:00-4:00 pm weekdays (70 hrs) $750
Three weeks Levels C & D 9:00-4:00 pm weekdays (84 hrs) $900
All students accepted into the Pre-Professional Intensive Program are strongly encouraged to enroll for all four weeks, for which a beneficial tuition discount is offered. However, if this is not possible, students may enroll for a three-week minimum, which need not be consecutive.
