Piano, Elderhostel

BM Wheaton College; MM and DMA Peabody Conservatory. Heist has formerly served on the faculties of Dundalk Community College and Towson University. He has frequently appeared as a pianist for the Baltimore Composers Forum at Goucher College. He has served as Music Director and Organist for First Presbyterian Church of Howard County. He is currently on the piano faculty of McDonough School. He is also organist at Catonsville Presbyterian Church.
