Departmental Requirements
Everyone who is registered for major lessons must perform a graded recital during the year or a hearing (jury) for the departmental faculty at the end of each year of study.
Master's students
Students who show a deficiency in sight-reading and basic keyboard harmony will be required to take Keyboard Skills Reveiew (530. 423-424) in the first year of the MM program, before being allowed to take Advanced Keyboard Skills in the second year.
