First Year:
Technique:
Requirements will be based on the individual student’s ability and long-term career goals. Emphasis is on sound, intonation, rhythm, style and technique.
Repertoire:
- Excerpts—selected from the symphonic and operatic repertoire with concentration on those required for professional bass trombone auditions.
- Solo compositions
- Bach Selected Arias Cello Suites (2 & 3)
- Hindemith Drei Liechte Stuecke (cello)
- Marcello Sonatas for Cello (1-6)
- McCarty Sonata

Second Year:

Same as stated for first year.
