Accompanist and assistant director of the Peabody Children's Chorus

Mr. Permenter teaches in the Baltimore County Public School system. He received his M.M. in piano performance from Peabody Conservatory in 1994.  He also holds a B.M. in piano from the University of Memphis.  While studying at Peabody he was the recipient of the Sarah Stuhlman Zierler Prize in accompanying.  Mr. Permenter completed all three levels of Orff Schulwerk certification at George Mason University as well as the Summer Course at the Orff Institut in Salzburg, Austria in 2003.
