Accompanist and assistant director of the Peabody Children's Chorus

MM Peabody Conservatory; BM University of Memphis. Permenter teaches in the Baltimore County Public School system. While studying at Peabody he was the recipient of the Sarah Stuhlman Zierler Prize in accompanying. Permenter completed all three levels of Orff Schulwerk certification at George Mason University as well as the Summer Course at the Orff Institute in Salzburg, Austria in 2003. He was the 2009 recipient of the Peabody Preparatory’s Excellence in Teaching Award.
