Dr. Rasmussen is a composer and educational consultant for early childhood music recordings and a researcher/conference presenter on relationships between early childhood music experiences and music aptitudes. He has taught early childhood music since 1991 and has taught at Peabody Preparatory since 2000. Rasmussen was a co-recipient of the Preparatory 2008 Excellence in Teaching Award.
