mastered, and produced over 1,000 commercially released music recordings for
such labels as Atlantic, Blue Note, Chesky, Columbia, Concord, EMI, Enja, JVC,
Nonesuch, Palmetto, Rounder, Telarc, Verve, and Warner, including two Grammy
winners. Staff recording engineer at Skyline Studios in New
York, a major independent recording studio,
1979-1984; chief engineer at Classic Sound, dedicated to recording acoustic
jazz music, 1984-1989. Since 1998, owner/chief engineer of AlgoRhythms in New
York, a state-ofthe- art digital mastering studio and
listening room. Technical director for a classical music NPR Radio series,
Heard Fresh, produced for American Public Media. Voting member of the National Association
of Recording Arts and Sciences and the Audio Engineering Society.
