Everyone is strongly encouraged to attend the morning ceremony on the Homewood campus.  At this ceremony, degrees are formally conferred upon all graduating students from all the Hopkins divisions.  A shuttle bus will be available at 7:50AM to take graduating students and their guests to Homewood and return them to Peabody after the ceremony.  The bus will pick up passengers at the bus stop on the Peabody side of the Washington Monument.  Tickets are not required for guests to attend the Homewood ceremony.

 

Schedule for the Homewood Ceremony

7:50AM      

Shuttle bus to Homewood leaves from the bus stop at the Washington Monument.  

Beginning at 7:30AM

Students arrive at Homewood, at the Goldfarb Gymnasium for robing:

            AD and DMA candidates assemble in Section D.

           BM, BA, MM, GPD and certificate candidates assemble in Section F.

8:55AM

The Commencement Procession begins.

9:15AM

The Commencement Ceremony begins.  The ceremony takes place in the Newton H. White Athletic Center at Homewood Field.  It usually concludes by 11:45AM.
