Master Classes are a big part of the Peabody experience. Throughout the year, students perform in regular closed-door sessions in the Studio for Ms. Piccinini, as well as for special visiting artists. Past guests have included András Adórjan (Hochschule München), Jeanne Baxtresser (Carnegie-Mellon University), Jill Felber (University of California Santa Barbara), Bradley Garner(Cincinnati Conservatory), Timothy Hutchins Montreal Symphony), Jeffrey Khaner (Philadelphia Orchestra,Curtis Institute), Emmanuel Pahud (Berlin Philharmonic), Thomas Robertello (Indiana University), Elizabeth Rowe (Boston Symphony), Renee Siebert (New York Philharmonic), James Walker (Colburn School), and harpsichordist Kenneth Cooper (Manhattan School).

In addition, Ms. Piccinini holds an Open-door master classes during each semester, inviting flutists and flute-enthusiasts from around the country to attend these events at no charge.
