Beginner Classical Guitar Class (16 and Up)
Designed for beginning students with little or no experience, the course is a solid introduction to fundamental classical guitar skills such as reading and interpreting music, performing with proper guitar technique, and ensemble playing. Nylon string classical guitar and footstool are required. Minimum of four students.

Guitar History (16 and Up)
This course will give the student a general introduction to the literature of the classical guitar and its ancestors. The class will begin with the music of the 16th century and trace the evolution of the instrument through to the 21st century. Solo repertoire as well as chamber music and concertos will be covered. Knowledge of modern notation for guitar is required. Minimum of four students.

Beginner Steel String Guitar Class (16 and Up)
Designed for beginning students with little or no experience, the course is a solid introduction to fundamental steel string guitar skills such as pick and fingerstyle technique, strum patterns, using a variety of chords, knowledge of different styles, and the basic principles of music. Steel string guitar required. Minimum of four students.
