Undergraduate Committee
The Undergraduate Committee oversees the undergraduate programs, including the Bachelor of Music and Performer's Certificate. It advises the faculty and administration on matters including: undergraduate curricula; requirements for graduation; examinations, juries, and recitals; academic standing; undergraduate admissions; scholarships and awards; and matters of coordination between the various undergraduate programs.
The Undergraduate Committee meets monthly during the academic year under the co-chairmanship of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and a faculty member elected by the committee. The Undergraduate Committee is involved with the academic welfare of many undergraduate students on an individual basis through its work of monitoring the progress of students who experience academic difficulties, and making appropriate recommendations.
