Armed Robbery/Aggravated Assault
WHERE: North Charles Street and Mount Vernon Place
WHEN: 1-26-12 Between 7:10 and 7:14PM
HOW: A Peabody student was robbed at gun point at the bus stop near the Washington Monument. A second Peabody student was also assaulted when the suspect pointed the handgun at the student.
SUSPECT: Suspect described as an African-American male in his late 30’s to early 40’s; 5’7” to 5’9” tall; slim build; wearing a black skull cap, green hooded sweatshirt, black tee shirt and black pants.
If you become the victim of any physical altercation, do not resist and be as cooperative as possible. Try to make mental notes of the suspect’s description. Report the crime to police as soon as possible. Always use the escort van service.

Attempted Armed Robbery
WHERE: 600 block of North Charles Street
WHEN: 12-19-2011 at 12:27 AM
HOW: A Peabody student was walking alone on North Charles Street next to the Peabody Institute when confronted by a suspect on a bicycle displaying a handgun. The suspect came from the 700 block of North Charles Street.
SUSPECT: Black male, 5’9”, 25 to 30 yrs. old wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

WHEN: 11-14-11 at 3:30 AM
HOW: A Peabody student and companion were confronted by a suspect displaying a handgun.
SUSPECT: Black male, 5’5”, Thin build.
