WHERE: 606 Saint Paul Street      
           
WHEN:  May 2, 2009           
 
HOW: A student reported to Campus Police that he had left his musical instruments in his unsecured dorm room at 2:30am. When he returned at 5:12am, he found the instruments destroyed.
 
It is important that unauthorized individuals are not permitted access to the dorms. Contact Campus Police if you see anyone that you do not know in the dorm towers. Always lock the door to your room when you leave.        
 
REMEMBER: It is important to report thefts and other crimes as soon as possible to the campus police. If you observe suspicious persons or activity, report it immediately. Your swiftness in reporting crimes helps in the initial investigation. Use of the bike racks provided on campus is strongly recommended.  Secure property when not in use and lock rooms when unoccupied.   If you have any information regarding this crime, or other crimes you may have witnessed, please report it to the Campus Police Office at 410-659-8100 ext. 6000.

WHERE: 216 West Monument Street
           
WHEN:  April 18, 2009
 
HOW:  The victim had parked her car, and upon exiting the vehicle was approached by the suspect who placed a weapon of some type into her left side. The suspect demanded her purse and car keys. The victim pleaded that she be allowed to retrieve her violin that was in the trunk. The suspect allowed her to get it before he drove away with her vehicle and purse. Victim made a report to the Baltimore City Police.

WHERE: 5 Centre Street    
           
WHEN:  March 4th, 2009, 8:38 pm   
 
HOW:  Campus Police received a call for a possible trespasser in the bookstore. Upon arrival, the Campus Police found the suspect hiding behind the counter. The suspect was detained, and the Baltimore City Police responded and arrested the suspect.
 
            The suspect had entered the building when it was open, and stayed behind when it was closed.
