Flute Circuit Training
Kristin Bacchiocchi Stewart
Flute Circuit Training is a practice/warm up routine created by Kristin Bacchiocchi Stewart. It can be applied to any other instrument and is not limited to just flutists. Circuit training is a type of interval training in which strength exercises are combined with endurance/aerobic exercises giving you all the benefits of both a cardiovascular and strength training workout. Kristin has devised a circuit training practice routine for the flute that will help in guiding your practice regimen.
Control Your Breath
Oluwafemi Oladeji
While on the road with his fellow artists, Oluafemi Oladeji began to consciously combine different elements from various disciplines to help find a path to centering and relaxing the body and gaining greater postural self-awareness. From this, CYB (Control Your Breath) was born: a combination of wing chun, Tiger Crane, Pilates, shiatsu, and Shaolin kung fu (Gidigbo, tai chi, Gi Gong).
Finding the Flute for YOU!

A lecture presentation of the many combinations of metals, designs, and configurations presently available to most flutists. This demonstration is performed upon the same model of maker with specific metal changes. Most flute key options will be demonstrated in order to better understand the myriad of possibilities.
Emergency 101
Steven Finley
An exploration of how to accurately identify problems on the instrument that are presently troublesome, are recurring, or could be prevented until seen by a master repairman. This includes using materials that are available in one's flute bag, handbag, or briefcase. Being creative is of the utmost importance, and utilizing other woodwind colleagues is imperative.
