Yale Gordon Competition Winners All Peled Students

The annual Yale Gordon Competition was held February 26 & 27 in Peabody's Miriam A. Friebgerg Concert Hall. Judges for the competition were Elmar Oliviera, Daniel Panner and Kurt Muroki.

First prize went to Hans Goldstein who performed Antonín Dvořák's Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104. Goldstein won a $1000 prize and will play the concerto with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra next season.

Second and third prizes were awarded to DaVin Lee and Yunjin Ro, who both played Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations. They received $500 and $100, respectively.
