Dear Peabody Resident:

At the Peabody Conservatory, we take preparation for crisis very seriously and in fact deal with emergency situations throughout the school year. Although we cannot predict every possible event, we have created response mechanisms that will help us appropriately address emergencies both predictable and unanticipated.

It is extremely important, however, that you also be prepared to respond quickly and effectively in an emergency. One critical element of this preparation is determining now, well ahead of time, where you would go in the local Baltimore metro area (within 50-70 miles from campus) should the Conservatory be forced to close on short notice because of a flu outbreak or other emergency. This information will help insure that each student has a place to go in the event that the school or residence hall is closed.

	Community Standards & Policies Please read this document in order to make sure you are in compliance with all Residence Hall Policies. If you have any questions, please contact the Residence Life & Student Activities Coordinator at kmcclai6@peabody.jhu.edu.
	Over Night Guest Request Residents are permitted to house overnight guests in their rooms provided that they first obtain the consent of their roommates, Resident Assistant, and the Residence Life Office. Extended visits (over three days) are prohibited by the Conservatory. Please complete this form and submit it to your Resident Assistant for approval.
