For talented and serious string students, IPC is a series of performance workshops and master classes that are designed to develop performance skills and explore enrichment topics. Classes are coordinated by Rebecca Henry and taught by members of the Preparatory and Conservatory faculties, as well as guest artists from the music world at large. Past guest artists have included Richard Aaron, Klara Berkovich, Daniel Heifetz, Sara Caswell, Nicholas Kendall, Mimi Zweig and the Biava and Ciompi String Quartets.
IPC is designed to be performance oriented and students will perform regularly. Two sessionswill be combined with the Advanced Performance Class (APC). Open to students enrolled in individual instruction in the Preparatory only.
Requirements for Entry: Dedication to practicing a minimum of one hour daily, performance at the Preparatory Certificate Program Intermediate levels, and recommendation by faculty.
