Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP)

Full-time Peabody students receive primary and gynecological health care services from the Wyman Park location of the Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. The health center is located across from the JHU Homewood campus and is within walking distance of the 29th Street stop of the University’s shuttle bus. In addition, students may call the “Blue Van” service at 410-516-PARK before leaving Peabody to arrange to be picked up at the bus stop at Homewood to be driven to Wyman Park.
Internal Medicine
The Adult Internal Medicine practice is located on the first and second floors. To schedule an appointment, please call 1-866-398-8472 and be sure to identify yourself as a Peabody student. When you arrive for care, present your student identification and supplemental insurance card/documentation. All students are required to carry adequate health insurance coverage. You will not be charged for the visit, but you may incur additional fees for diagnostic tests, medications, supplies, etc. Generally, these additional fees will be billed to your supplemental insurance.

Monday and Thursday: 8:00 am–7:30 pm
Tuesday: 9:00 am–4:30 pm
Wednesday and Friday: 8:00 am–4:30 pm
Type of Service
For routine appointments, Peabody students are a priority and will be scheduled for the next available appointment. This may be next day or several days depending on availability. Office hours may change at the discretion of JHCP.
For urgent health care issues–clearly describe your problem so that your needs can be addressed appropriately. If you have an urgent issue after hours, call the usual number and the "After Hours Triage" service will provide advice on treatment options.
In the case of emergency, immediately dial 911 or Campus Security if you live on campus.
Women's Health
The Department of Gynecology/Obstetrics is located on the first floor, Room 115. There is a broad range of gynecological services on site which include contraception, annual exams, and pregnancy care. To schedule an appointment, please call 410-338-3758 and identify yourself as a Peabody student.
