In 2001 Peabody launched a collaborative initiative with the National University of Singapore to found the Yong Siew Toh (YST) Conservatory, the country’s first and only conservatory of music. The YST Conservatory adds an international dimension to the Peabody community via its student exchange program that sends members of both schools to live, learn, and perform with their counterparts on the other side of the world. The schools also welcome each other’s faculty for coachings and master classes.
