Ganz PhotoArtist diploma, Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Studied with Leon Fleisher. Awards include co-winner, First Grand Prize, 1989 Marguerite Long/Jacques Thibaud International Piano Competition, 1989 Beethoven Fellowship from the American Pianists Association, and Third Prize in the 1991 Queen Elisabeth of Belgium International Piano Competition. 1990 fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center. Solo performances with the St. Louis Symphony, National Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, L'Orchestre National de Belgique, L'Orchestre Lamoureux, City of London Sinfonia, and L'Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo. Live broadcasts from Paris and Belgium and on NPR's Performance Today. Recordings on the Gailly, Accord, and REM labels. Musician-in-residence and member of the piano faculty at St. Mary's College of Maryland.
