Graduate, The Juilliard School. Studies with Ivan Galamian and the Juilliard Quartet. International reputation as a performer and distinguished artist-teacher. Solo recital and orchestra appearances throughout the U.S.A. Concert performances at the White House, on ABC and CBS TV, Puerto Rico Casals Festival. Master classes, lectures and courses at Yale University, Eastman School, and in Australia and Mexico. Summer festivals, Fontaine-bleau, France; Aspen Music School; Victoria, British Columbia; and Annapolis, Maryland. Long list of outstanding students includes Pamela Frank, Joseph Lin, Joseph Swensen. Author and illustrator of instructional violin books, 18 now in print.
