Vinca Quartet

This professional string quartet - with Peabody Student and Peabody at Homewood chamber music coach Jessica Tong on first violin - will perform works by Haydn, Mendelssohn, and Schumann.

 

Nubar Trio

Friday, December 4 8PM     Mattin 101 (SDS Room)

The Nubar Trio, with Peabody students Gleb Kanasevich, Clarinet; Martiros Shakhzadyan, Violin; and Dimitry Samogray, Piano will perform works by Bach, Bartok, Khachaturian, and Rachmaninov.

 

Jerfi Aji - Recital fantastique

Shirley Yoo (JHU B.A., Peabody DMA (Piano), and former Peabody faculty member) is joined by performing partner, pianist Stephen Buck (JHU alumnus) and Peabody percussionists Victor Caccese and Terry Sweeney to perform works by Olivier Messiaen, Steve Reich, Thierry de Mey, and Peabody alumnus and faculty member David Smooke.

 

Kristin Bacchiocchi-Stewart and Joel Brown

Peabody doctoral candidate (soon to be alumna) Kristin Bacchiocchi-Stewart (DMA, Flute, 2010) and guitarist Joel Brown perform pieces by Machado, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Giuliani, Ibert, Villa-Lobos, and Piazolla.

 

Peabody Woodwind Quintet

The Peabody Woodwind Quintet, with Peabody students Eric Maul (Flute), Katherine Magruder (Oboe), Nicole Papadatos (Clarinet), Hillary Erb (Bassoon), and Ellen Arciere (Horn), perform pieces by Barthe, Ravel, Hindemith, and Arnold.
