Studies at Eastman School of Music and Tanglewood Berkshire Music Center. Teachers included Arnold Jacobs. Member of the New York City Ballet Orchestra, 1967-1999. Orchestral experience also includes American Composers Orchestra, Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, Casals Festival Orchestra, Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, San Antonio Symphony Orchestra. Member, New York Brass Quintet, 1967-1982. Chamber music performances with the New York Tuba Quartet, American Brass Quintet, Chamber Society of Lincoln Center, Music Today Ensemble, Contemporary Chamber Ensemble. Faculty and chair of the brass department at Manhattan School of Music; faculty, Yale University School of Music. Former faculty at New England Conservatory, Mannes College of Music, Hartt School of Music, and New College Music Festival.
