Former faculty, Department of History, Colorado College (1990-93), The Lehnhoff School (Chicago, 1986-90). Violinist, The City Musick, (Chicago, 1986-90), Colorado Springs Symphony (1976-82). Thomas J. Watson Fellowship recipient, 1984-85 (baroque violin study in London, Amsterdam, Paris). Charter member and co-chair of the Consortium for the Liberal Education of Artists (CLEA).

Current Humanities Department Chairman.
