Ron Levy
Ron Levy, Humanities.
B.A.,
Colorado College; M.A., Ph.D., The University of Chicago. Research and
publications in European intellectual history and the history of
science. Former faculty, Department of History, Colorado College
(1990-93), The Lehnhoff School (Chicago, 1986-90). Violinist, The City
Musick, (Chicago, 1986-90), Colorado Springs Symphony (1976-82). Thomas
J. Watson Fellowship recipient, 1984-85 (baroque violin study in
London, Amsterdam, Paris). Charter member and co-chair of the
Consortium for the Liberal Education of Artists (CLEA).
Current Humanities Department Chairman.
I am married with three children. (And for the record, Sharon Levy, of the Music Theory faculty, is no relation--noted here since so many assume otherwise!)
