Alum to perform in Poland
Marijim Thoene (BM ’70, Church Music) will play three organ recitals in Poland this July—Bialystok's basilica: Our Lady Assumption Church on July 13; Bialowieza's St.Teresa church on July 15; Bialystok's St.Kazimierz Casimir on July 15.

Sutherland residency
Organ faculty artist Donald Sutherland completed a four-day residency from Mar. 22 to 24 at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, teaching classes, doing a lecture recital on the Orgelbuechlein of Bach, and performing an all-Bach recital.

Video: John Walker performs at AGO convention
Faculty artist John Walker performed with brass and a chorus of 100 voices at the American Guild of Organists convention in Morristown, N.J. In this video, they perform the Christmas carol Angels From the Realms of Glory.

13th Annual French Organ Music Marathon
The 13th Annual French Organ Music Marathon, held on Sunday, June 5th, at Grace Methodist Church in Baltimore, had a strong Peabody presence. Ten of the 12 performers were past or present Peabody organ students. In addition to faculty member Donald Sutherland, performers were Marvin Mills, Michael Britt, Preparatory organ faculty member Samuel Springer, Richard Fitzgerald, William Wisnom, Song Yi Park, Paul Carroll, Victor Fields and Jung Yeon Kim. Richard Fitzgerald and Song Yi Park are students of John Walker, the others, students of Donald Sutherland.

Bach Concert Series Organ Competition
Master of Music candidate Ted Bickish and Graduate Performance Diploma candidate EunHye Grace Kim tied for first place in the Bach Concert Series' Inaugural Organ Competition, held Sept. 11 at Christ Lutheran Church, 701 South Charles Street. Junior Christopher Keenan was the runner-up.
Bickish will perform in a concert in the free series, founded and directed by T. Herbert Dimmock (MM ’76, Organ), on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 4:00 pm.
