Studies at the Vienna Academy with Dieter Weber, with Maria Curcio in London, and Gyorgy Sebok at Indiana University, and in master classes with Wilhelm Kempff and Leon Fleisher. First prizes in the Elena-Rombro Stepanow Competition in Vienna and the Viotti International Competition in Vercelli, Italy. Prizewinner in the Vienna da Motta Competition in Lisbon, Portugal, and the Chopin Prize from the Geneva International Competition in Switzerland. Appearances with the Tokyo Philharmonic, Osaka Philharmonic, Seoul Philharmonic, Korean National Orchestra and performances throughout the U.S. and Korea. Former faculty, Michigan State University.
