Peabody composer's work premiered by Yo-Yo Ma and Atlanta Symphony
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution featured an article on the premiere of a work by Peabody Conservatory composition student Angel Lam. The concerto, Awakening from a Disappearing Garden, was commissioned by Carnegie Hall and performed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. The concerto will be performed as part of the Ancient Paths, Modern Voices festival at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, November 7.
