Latin GRAMMY for Barrueco recording

Gabriel Lena Frank's Inca Dances, which was recorded by Peabody guitar faculty member Manuel Barrueco and the Cuarteto Latinoamericano, has won the Latin GRAMMY award for best contemporary classical composition. Barrueco's recording was mastered at Peabody by Ed Tetreault of the Recording Arts department. The work was commissioned by the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society and funded in part by the Peabody Conservatory Faculty Development Grant.
