Fall Semester's courses:

"Awakenings" -- Fall semester seminar

Ethical Dilemmas

(enrolled students can access these courses via Blackboard)

Almost all written work is submitted on line in my classes. Each semester, I experiment in new ways to manage a paperless course.  Readings not available at the bookstore are downloaded (as pdfs) rather than copied and distributed as handouts.

Student work, and much of the student-teacher exchange, is posted and archived in electronic portfolios that students build and maintain in my classes. Student work does not evaporate--portfolios allow me to review a student's work in my classes over the years.

Contact me if you have questions about the Peabody Digital Portfolio project or about CLEA (the Consortium for the Liberal Education of Artists).
