Chopin's elegance and technique were remarkable, while Liszt’s virtuosity revolutionized how the piano is played. Explore some of their impressive, enduring works for piano. Also examine the long and brilliant, if interrupted, career of Horowitz through his recorded legacy. Discover the unique qualities that made him the most sought-after pianist of his day.
NOTE:
In contrast to our regular programs, which last 6 days and 5 nights, "Snapshot" programs are shorter, running 4 days and 3 nights. They are designed to provide an introduction to all that our Exploritas has to offer! This program will begin on Sunday, April 18, 2010 and will conclude on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
