Peabody Double Bass Department Calendar
This page contains the schedule for Orchestra Rep and Solo Rep classes for Semester I of the 2009-10 academic year. All bass students are expected to attend all classes and have the correct repertoire prepared for each class. Rep books will be provided for orchestra rep class but it is expected that you will also own your own copies of the music for your personal archive. Exact repertoire for each class will be posted on the board outside the bass studio.
If you have a conflict with a date or time, please contact whoever is in charge of class that night in advance of the class to be excused.
If you work as hard as you can for this class you will recieve an A. Anything less and you should be asking yourself if Peabody is really the place for you........Because after all, it's not really about credits, is it?
Schedule Fall 2009
All orchestra repertoire classes are in three sections at 5:00, 6:10, and 7:20 pm unless special arrangements are made by the instructor for that class. All performance classes begin at 7:00 pm. Some performance classes will begin with a scale warmup session for all participants and any other interested players beginning at 6:00. This will be determined on an individual basis by the faculty for their classes.
