2009 Awards Ceremony
On June 7, 2009 the Preparatory hosted its 25th annual Awards Ceremony. Approximately 200 students were recognized for their outstanding achievement on stage in the classroom during the past school year. In addition, Bradley Permenter was awarded the 2009 Excellence in Teaching Award.
Featured performers included the Preparatory Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Ian Sims and Blake Meister as well as flutist Gina Kim, a student of Rachel Choe.

Preparatory Concerto Competition Winner Announced
Congratulations to pianist Ruth Choa, winner of the 2008-2009 Concerto Competition. Ruth, a student of Yong Hi Moon, will perform Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25 with the Preparatory Youth Orchestra. The concert will take place on Saturday May, 9 at 7:00 p.m. in Friedberg Concert Hall.
Congratulations to Ruth and all the participants in this year's competition!
