Directions

From Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Airport

When you arrive at BWI Airport, check with the ground transportation desk in the baggage area. There is a “Super Shuttle” service that leaves every twenty minutes for various destinations (there may be longer wait times). The shuttle costs about $21.00 per person one-way ($12 for each additional person). The shuttle will drop you off at Peabody or your hotel. For more information call: 1-800-BLUE-VAN or visit supershuttle.com

A BWI taxi can take you to Peabody for roughly $30-35 (this is approximate rate). Actual rates will vary depending on location. Maryland law prohibits flat rates. For more information, visit bwiairporttaxi.com.

The Light Rail leaves the airport every 20 minutes. The fare is $1.60 each way, and total travel time runs around 45 minutes. The closest stop to Peabody is on Centre Street, about 3 blocks west of campus. For walking directions from this stop continue here.

MARC and Amtrak trains run from BWI Rail Station to Penn Station in Baltimore. The MARC train is $4 and only runs on weekdays. For Amtrak schedules and fairs, visit amtrak.com. MARC and Light Rail information can be found at mta.maryland.gov. Taxis are available when you get to Penn Station, and will get you to Peabody for about $6. (All prices quoted are subject to change.)
