Computer Lab/Internet Access

The entire Peabody campus is WiFi accessible.

For your convenience, there is also a computer lab with internet access located in room 205 in Leakin Hall. Group access to the Unger Lounge computer lab must be reserved in advance through your conference director.

Dining Services

Peabody's Dining Services offer a wide variety of cuisine, and would be pleased to serve the needs of your conference. Dining Services' capable staff is also ready to cater any special events your conference might have, placing emphasis on high quality, cost effective catering.

DINING HALL HOURS are subject to change with each conference. Generally hours are as follows:

Monday-Saturday

Breakfast 7:30 am to 8:45 am

Lunches 11:30 am to 1:15 pm

Dinner 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Sunday

Brunch 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Dinner 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Times are negotiable. We will work hard to accomodate meal times based on your schedule.

Transportation

The Peabody campus is accessible through a variety of public and private transportation.

The Johns Hopkins Shuttle - Johns Hopkins provides a free shuttle bus that runs every half hour during the week, and every hour on weekends. During the morning and afternoon commute, the shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes. The bus runs between 3 Hopkins campuses: Peabody Institute, Johns Hopkins University campus and the Johns Hopkins Medical campus.

Parking at Peabody

The Peabody Institute has an on-campus parking facility with an entrance on St. Paul Street. The cost is $10.00 per day with no in and out privileges. Weekly parking plans with in/out privileges are available upon request.

Audio/Video Equipment

Peabody Conference Services has A/V Equipment for use during your stay. It is important to reserve your equipment needs with us in advance, so that we may make the necessary arrangements for delivery and setup. A fee is charged for these services.

Photocopying Machine

For small scale copying, there is a public photocopier in the Unger Lounge area with a charge of 10 cents per page.

For bulk copying requirements you can use any of the commercial copier companies located in the area. You may also rent a copier to be delivered and used by your group while on campus.

Unger Lounge

Unger Lounge is located on the Plaza level of the East Tower. Open 24 hours a day, Unger Lounge is Peabody's recreational space. It houses vending machines with various drinks and snacks, the Peabody mailroom, pay phones, a ping pong table, an air hockey table, a pool table and a cable TV.

ATM

For your immediate cash needs, there is a 24 hour automated teller machine located on the Plaza level of the West Tower of the Residence Hall. This ATM is furnished and operated by the Johns Hopkins University Federal Credit Union.
