Concert Halls

Miriam A. Friedberg Hall 

Built in neoclassical style, the Conservatory's Miriam A. Friedberg Concert Hall is one of the oldest recital halls in America. With a split level orchestra floor and small balcony, the hall seats 615.

Goodwin Recital Hall

Located in the Preparatory building and seating 203, Goodwin hall is a warm and inviting space for chamber music, lectures, recitals and other performances.

Leith Symington Griswold Hall

Griswold Hall, on the second floor of the Conservatory, provides an elegant venue for organ recitals, chamber music and other events. Peabody's magnificent 16th century Flemish tapestry adorns one wall. Seating in Griswold hall is portable and is restricted to 200.

Cohen-Davison Family Theater

Located on Mt. Vernon Place, this 94-seat theatre is Peabody's newest recital space. Cohen-Davison features tablet armchairs, and is an ideal space for lectures and smaller recitals.

Classrooms

The Peabody Conservatory has roughly 30 classrooms/studios, of various shapes and sizes, seating anywhere from 20-50 people available for use during the summer months.
