Information for New Graduate Students
Below please find important information concerning Orientation Week and the 2011-2012 academic year. If you will be unable to attend Orientation, please notify the Academic Program Coordinator, , by August 15.
Please note: if you are beginning a new degree at Peabody, you are required to attend the Academic Advising session for your program. All Academic Advising sessions are listed on the Orientation Week schedule.

Orientation Schedule
The Orientation Schedule is subject to change. Please verify exam dates, times, and locations by checking the latest Orientation 2011 schedule when you arrive on campus in August.
Placement Examinations
No student may register for music theory or ear training classes without taking the appropriate placement exams. If you did not take placement exams during Audition Week (or would like to retake them), you should be prepared to do so during Orientation Week. Please consult the Placement Examination Checklist to determine whether there are other areas of testing specific to your major area or program.
