Clarinet Requirements
Departmental hearings will generally be 15 minutes in length.
All studies, scales, chords, solo repertoire and orchestral excerpts will be at the individual teacher's discretion. The listings below are for guidelines only and may or may not be adhered to by the individual instructor.

- Scales: All major and minor scales (various articulations)

- Arpeggios: All major and minor arpeggios

Jean-Jean: 60 Etudes or 25 Etudes
Hite: Artistic Studies Book 3 (Cavallini Plus)
Stark: Arpeggio Studies
Thurston: Passage Studies Book 2

Third Year

- Arpeggios: All dominant seventh, diminished seventh, and augmented arpeggios.
