The Peabody Conservatory Distinguished Alumni Award

This award is given to a former student of the Conservatory who has graduated from the school or attended for at least two years. It is awarded for distinguished work in his/her profession: performance, conducting, teaching, composing or administrating. The Alumnus/a receiving this award must have demonstrated great artistry or service during an established career. The award was first given in 1962.

The Peabody Conservatory Young Maestro Award

This award is given to a former student of the Conservatory who has graduated from the school or attended for at least two years. This award was established in 1988 to recognize the outstanding musical achievements accomplished by young alumni of the Peabody Institute.

The Peabody Alumni Achievement Award Recognizing Outstanding Contributions to Music in Maryland

Established in 2001. Recipients of the Peabody Alumni Award Recognizing Outstanding Contributions to Music in Maryland include:

The Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association Heritage Award

This award is intended to honor alumni or friends of Johns Hopkins who have contributed outstanding service over an extended period to the progress of the University and the activities of the Alumni Association. This award was established in 1973.

Peabody recipients of the Johns Hopkins Heritage Award include:

The Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association Distinguished Alumnus Award

This award is intended to honor alumni who have typified the Johns Hopkins tradition of excellence and brought credit to the University by their personal accomplishment, professional  achievement, or humanitarian service. This award was established in 1978.

Peabody recipients of the Johns Hopkins Distinguished Alumnus Award include:

The Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association Global Achievement Award 

Intended to honor alumni who exemplify the Johns Hopkins tradition of excellence and have brought credit to the university and their profession in the international arena through their professional achievements or humanitarian service. This award was established in 2009 as the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association Knowledge for the World Award. In November of 2013, the award was renamed the Johns Hopkins Univeristy Alumni Association Global Achievement Award.

Peabody recipients of the Johns Hopkins Global Achievement Award include:

*Award presented as the Johns Hopkins Knowledge for the World Award in these years.

The Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association Outstanding Recent Graduate Award

Intended to honor recent graduates of Johns Hopkins (within 10 years of graduation) for outstanding achievement or service in his or her professional or volunteer life. Support of Johns Hopkins may be a consideration, but not a requirement. This Award was established in 2009.
