Peabody Conservatory Distinguished Alumni Award
This award is given to a former student of the Conservatory who has graduated from the school or attended for at least two years. It is awarded for distinguished work in his/her profession: performance, conducting, teaching, composing or administrating. The Alumnus/ai receiving this award must have demonstrated great artistry or service during an established career. The award was first given in 1962.

The Peabody Conservatory Young Maestro Award
This award is given to a former student of the Conservatory who has graduated from the school or attended for at least two years. This award was established in 1988 to recognize the outstanding musical achievements accomplished by young alumni of the Peabody Institute.
